Create and edit

A feature is unavailable, or I cannot find its entry

Check the workflow, model, input readiness, and plan before assuming a feature is missing.

Check where you are

First-time setup offers fewer entry points than the Create workspace. Complete setup to reach Create. Within Create, Idea and Custom have different controls: visuals belong in Idea, while Custom has separate Lyrics and Style fields and the Songwriting Assistant.

Check the selected model

Melody and score references use ACE Music v1.1 Preview. Adding such a reference can switch the selected model. Some controls are hidden or unavailable with ACE-Step, which does not read melody or score references.

ACE-Step supports Standard from text, plus Cover and Edit from one song’s audio. Add a song to see its audio modes; for Edit, select the section on the waveform first. The source must have available audio and be no longer than 8 minutes. Use ACE Music v1.1 Preview for Mashup or melody and score inputs.

Check inputs and permissions

  • Read messages about missing descriptions, Style, references, or reference preparation.
  • Check the plan requirement and Credits separately.
  • For recording, allow microphone access when requested. External MIDI requires browser support and permission.
  • Check whether the input limit has been reached. Custom Cover uses one reference; Mashup uses two or three.

What to include in your report

Include your UID, page, selected model, workflow, plan, screenshot of the missing or disabled control, and the instructions or promotional page you were following.

Find your UID before contacting support

  1. Sign in to ACE Music and open Create.
  2. On a computer, open the account menu from the account area at the bottom of the left sidebar, then choose Account. If the sidebar is expanded, use the ⋯ button. On a phone, tap your avatar at the top of the page, then choose Account.
  3. Find the UID row and select Copy. If copying is blocked, select the UID text and copy it manually.
  4. Include this UID in your support message, along with the details below.

You can also open the Account page directly while signed in. Your UID identifies your account; it is different from a song ID or an order number. If you cannot sign in or open Account, contact support using your registered email address and say that your UID is unavailable. Do not delay reporting the problem just because you cannot retrieve it.

Signed-in users can choose Contact Support. You can also email support@acemusic.ai. Our team aims to reply within two business days. Send passwords, verification codes, API keys, and full payment-card details to no one.
