Create a song from a text prompt
Describe your idea in Idea mode and generate a song.
Use Idea when you want to describe a song in your own words. You can start with a subject and add the musical details that matter to you.
Write and generate
- Open Create and select Idea.
- Type your description in the input box.
- Read it once to check that the subject and musical direction are clear.
- Click Generate, then follow the progress in Library.
- Play the available results and compare how each interprets the prompt.
For example:
A laid-back soul song about a quiet Sunday morning, with electric piano, a rounded bass line, soft drums, and warm vocals.

What should I include?
- Subject: what the song is about.
- Genre and mood: for example, dreamy synth-pop or energetic rock.
- Instruments and production: acoustic guitar, strings, a sparse arrangement, or a roomy drum sound.
- Vocals or instrumental direction: describe the singing you want, or ask for an instrumental.
An example prompt displayed in the input box can help you get started. Edit it to match your own idea.
Refine the next version
Change one or two details at a time so you can hear their effect. A new generation creates a new result; editing the prompt does not rewrite a song you have already generated. Musical descriptions guide the result rather than guaranteeing an exact arrangement.
