Create a song with your own lyrics

Use Custom to provide the words for your song and describe the music in a separate Style field.

Enter your lyrics

1. Open Create and select Custom.
2. Open Lyrics and paste or type your words.
3. Keep verses, choruses, and other sections easy to read. You can use section labels such as [verse] and [chorus].
4. Open Style and describe the genre, mood, instruments, and vocal character you want.
5. Add an optional song title, review your inputs, and click Generate.

In the first-time setup, choose Start with an idea or lyrics, then Lyrics. Enter your words and continue through the setup.

Describe the overall sound and individual sections

In Custom, put the words to sing in Lyrics and the overall genre, mood and instruments in Style. You can also add short performance directions to section tags in Lyrics, such as [Verse - Soft, breathy vocals] or [Chorus - Raspy vocals, guitar enters]. Keep these directions inside the tags, separate from the sung lines. Listen to the result to check how the model interprets them.
