THE MODEL
What is ACE-Step 1.5?
Co-led by ACE Studio and StepFun, ACE-Step is an open-source music generation project. Its code and model weights are available to explore, run and build with.
ACE-Step 1.5 combines a language model that plans the musical description with a diffusion transformer that generates the audio. The XL series belongs to the 1.5 family and uses a larger, 4-billion-parameter diffusion transformer. ACE Music offers ACE-Step v1.5 XL through its Create page.

Is ACE-Step free on ACE Music?
Generation with ACE-Step v1.5 XL does not use generation credits. Its supported audio downloads do not require a paid subscription. Other models and features on ACE Music may use credits or require a subscription.
Can I use the music commercially?
Yes. ACE Music permits personal and commercial use of your ACE-Step outputs under its Terms of Service. You must have the necessary rights to your inputs; this does not guarantee copyright protection or freedom from third-party claims.
Do I need a GPU?
Not when using ACE Music in your browser. To run the model locally, check the official installation guide for hardware requirements and compatible model variants.
