Separate vocals, accompaniment, and other stems
Split a song and listen to or download the detected parts.
Stem separation creates audio parts from an existing song. It does not recreate the original recording session or provide editable instrument performances.
Start a split
- Find the song in Library and choose Get stems from its menu.
- Choose Vocal and Instrumental for a two-part split, or All Detected Stems for the available individual parts.
- Review the usage information, then choose Split.
- Wait for the task to finish before downloading the parts.
The current splitter requires paid-plan access and enough Credits for the selected operation. The amounts are maintained in Credits usage.
Listen to individual parts
Use Mute and Solo in the stems window to hear the parts you want. Listen to the full song as well as the isolated stems; faint bleed or artifacts can be more noticeable in isolation.
Download or reuse stems
Download a single part from its track row, or choose Download all as .zip for the completed split. The Library song row can also reveal its attached stems. A stem can be used as a creation reference, which may require reading it first.
Stems belong to the source song rather than appearing as separate ordinary songs in Library. The returned parts depend on what is detected; not every instrument will necessarily have its own clean stem.
Stem-separation costs
Vocal and Instrumental costs 5 Credits per song; All Detected Stems costs 60 Credits per song. Using both costs 65 Credits in total. Both require a paid plan and sufficient Credits. Reopening an existing result or running task for the same song and split type does not charge again. See Credits usage.
