Find, filter, and reuse songs in Library

Locate your work and use it as the starting point for another song.

Library brings together generated songs and uploaded audio. Search and filters can help you find an item, but they can also hide a new result.

Find a song

  1. Open Create and look in Library.
  2. Use Search to find an item by the information available to the search.
  3. Use Filter and Sort to change the displayed results and their order.
  4. Check the Liked and Uploads shortcuts if the list is narrower than you expect.
  5. Open a song's details to inspect its lyrics, style, and available source information.

If a new song is missing, clear the search and reset the filters before generating it again. An upload or a generation can still be processing even when its Library row is already present.

The type filters support multiple selections. To see only one type, keep that type checked and uncheck the others. Selecting a checked type removes it from the results.

Reuse a song

Open the song's menu and choose Use in Create. Choose how you want to use it: as an Idea reference, a Cover source, a Mashup source, or its style and lyrics where those options are available.

Check the creation fields after choosing an option. Adding a song as a reference does not mean every original field has been copied into Custom. Selecting style and lyrics is a separate action.

Reusing a source creates a starting point for another generation. It does not overwrite the original song in Library.

Find Cover and Edit results

The type filters include Originals, Covers, Mashups, Edits and Uploads. For an ACE-Step song made with Cover, look under Covers. Use Edits for results made by editing a section. If a result is missing, clear the filters and check the song’s source details.

What you can find and reuse

Search matches song titles and styles. Liked and Uploads are alternative quick filters; selecting one clears the other. Clear them if a result seems to be missing.

Generated songs and uploaded audio appear in Library. Images and videos are not reusable Library attachments. Editing or reusing a song starts another creation; it does not reopen a complete saved project containing every original input.
