Choosing an ACE Music Plan for the Way You Create
Compare ACE Music Free, Creator, and Artist plans by your workflow. Estimate credit use and check downloads, stems, and ACE Studio access before choosing.
You might want to make a birthday song once in a while, or develop new ideas every week. Either way, the best plan is the one that covers how you actually create.
ACE Music offers Free access and paid Creator, Artist and Artist Pro tiers. Start by checking the model, downloads and allowance you need. Compare Creator for browser-based creation, and the Artist tiers when you also need the separate ACE Studio application or a larger credit allowance.
Start with your needs and budget
Before comparing prices, write down how often you expect to create, how many versions you want to try, and what you need to do with the results.
A useful starting note might be:
“I’ll make music four evenings a month, try ten generations each evening, and download my favorite versions. My monthly budget is $10.”
Count attempts, not just finished songs. One song you keep might come from several generations while you explore different musical directions.
Also decide whether you need commercial-use permission, uploaded audio references, or separate audio parts for further editing. These requirements can matter more than frequency: someone making one project may need a paid feature, while a frequent user working with ACE-Step v1.5 may find Free sufficient.
Compare the available plans
The pricing page lists the following prices and allowances in USD:
The yearly figures are monthly equivalents. The full annual amount is billed for the year, so $7.90 does not mean a $7.90 monthly payment. Check the annual total before subscribing.
Free uses a shared creation queue and does not include the stem splitter. Its standard restrictions exclude downloads and commercial use, but ACE-Step v1.5 is an important exception: it includes unlimited generations, MP3 downloads, and commercial use.
Creator adds unlimited downloads, a priority queue, the stem splitter, and commercial-use rights. It does not include ACE Studio.
Artist includes Creator’s benefits, a larger credit and upload allowance, and access to ACE Studio. That is a separate application for further production; its listed features should not be confused with controls inside the browser-based song generator.
Artist Pro includes 5,000 credits per month, the Artist benefits, and additional ACE Studio features. The comparison below shows monthly billing and the monthly equivalent of annual billing. Before paying, confirm the total amount, currency, taxes, and terms on the checkout page.

Yearly is selected: compare the monthly credit allowances and read the annual billing terms before subscribing.

Compare what you will actually use
Credits measure exploration, not finished songs
ACE Music v1 produces two songs per generation for four credits, according to the plan FAQ. That is two credits per song, but each generation uses four.
At that rate, the included allowances support up to ten songs per day on Free, 500 per month on Creator, or 1,250 per month on Artist. These are generated versions, not a promise of that many finished songs you will want to keep.
For the example above, four sessions with ten generations each would use 160 credits and produce 80 versions. That fits within Creator’s monthly allowance. However, ten generations in one evening would require 40 credits, exceeding Free’s 20-credit daily allowance for that model.
ACE-Step v1.5 generation is free, so this calculation does not apply to it.
Downloads and editing may decide the plan
If you need MP3 downloads from ACE-Step v1.5, Free may already cover the task. Downloads from other models require a paid plan.
If you want separate audio parts—called stems—for further editing, the stem splitter makes Creator worth considering. You can work with those parts in a music-production application you already use.
Choose Artist for Studio access if you expect to use that additional application, or if its larger allowances solve a practical limit. Making music regularly does not automatically mean you need the highest tier.

Read What is a credit? to distinguish two results per generation from the number of finished songs you keep.
Match the plan to your situation
You make occasional personal songs. Start with Free and try a typical project. Check whether the available download route meets your needs and whether the daily allowance supports your experiments. If ACE-Step v1.5 does what you need, occasional use alone gives you little reason to subscribe.
You have one project with a deadline. Creator with monthly billing is a reasonable option if you need downloads from another model, stem separation, or more generations in a session. Its priority queue is another difference from Free, although the pricing page does not promise a specific completion time.
You create every week. Compare your expected monthly generations with the 1,000-credit allowance first. Creator may provide enough room. Consider Artist when you expect to exceed that allowance, need more uploaded audio capacity, or want Studio access.
Once your routine is established, compare annual billing with your expected months of use. A lower monthly equivalent is useful when you will keep creating throughout the year; it is less persuasive when you only have one short project planned.
Check the details and take the next step
Before paying, confirm your chosen model, download needs, commercial-use requirements, credit allowance, and billing interval. Review the applicable usage terms for any commercial project.
Then sign in and open Subscription from your account menu to review plans and manage your subscription. Check the amount due against your budget before completing a purchase.
After a few sessions, compare actual credit use with your estimate. Judge the plan by whether it lets you finish your intended projects within budget, with the downloads and editing options you need.
Frequently asked questions
Does yearly billing give me all my credits upfront?
No. Creator and Artist credits refill monthly, including on yearly subscriptions. Paying annually changes the billing arrangement, not the monthly credit refill schedule.
Does the upload allowance apply to each file?
No. It is the total uploaded audio your account can keep: ten minutes on Free, 30 on Creator, and 60 on Artist. It is not a per-file duration limit.
Does free ACE-Step generation mean every related action is free?
No. In ACE Music, ACE-Step v1.5 generation is free, but reading a song’s score costs one credit the first time. The score then stays with the song. Keep that separate from your generation budget.
